The 2016 Riesling Grand Cru Brand Kirchberg (abbreviated as Brand K on the European label) is from the east-facing part of the cru and opens with a beautifully pure and delicate bouquet of milled granite and perfectly ripe Riesling berries

This is such a gorgeous wine

Roulot, Auxey Duresses 1er Cru Brut Zero Lovely and understated and a(from Bas des Duresses and Les Grands Champs; 50% whole clusters). This is aromatically similar to the Monthlie though with a much broader array of floral elements thanks to the substantial percentage of whole clusters. The barely middleweight flavors are also on the lighter side but with better punch and notably better depth on the lingering and slightly more structured finale. This is really quite pretty and fashioned in an understated style.
