Here the cool and highly restrained nose is both more densely fruited and a bit more complex as well if a bit less elegant because like the Mazoyères this is clearly Gevrey in basic character

As is usually the case the broad-shouldered flavors possess more size and weight though perhaps a bit less than I usually see between the Ech and this wine

There is really lovely detail to the beautifully intense middle weight flavors that possess excellent precision and tension that supports the refined, pure and impressively persistent finish where a citrus component adds a bit of additional lift. This is a textbook Bienvenues of refinement and grace. 93 2019+
