Late 19th Century Laos Tribe Painted Buddha (5) Signs This stunning box originated inThis stunning buddha would have been hand carved by a Laos tribe in the late 19th century. This buddha was also hand painted which makes it rather unique. It is made out of a tropical hardwood, as appose to bronze, as the people who hand crafted these would not be able to afford bronze. Nevertheless, the quality of this buddha can be seen through the effort and detailing that is showcased. The dimensions are as follows: H 17. 5cm, W 5. 5cm, D 3cm.
