There are 2 layers of gathered fabric on the crinoline with 3 ruffly tiers on each one. The crinoline has a lot of body to it and can even stand upright by itself. Although it is crisp fabric for plenty of fullness under your vintage dress or square dance skirt, it is not scratchy like
