These single vineyard releases were easily some the most impressive wines I was able to taste during my trip through the region

The palate is silky and focused

Like the Charlemagne

There is reasonably good richness and mid-palate concentration to the dusty and moderately robust flavors that possess solid depth and length on the youthfully austere finale

Pousse d'Or, Volnay Caillerets Amphore Vintage:2015 A bit fossilisedIn contrast to the expressive and well layered nose of the regular cuve this was firmly reduced. Another difference is how much rounder the mouth feel of the flavors is while the finish seems a bit less evolved though otherwise, the two wines seemed qualitatively quite similar. However it would be most interesting to compare these two wines once theyve acquired some age. (90 92) 2022+
