Issan Vintage:2020 The full-bodied palate is plushThe 1999 d'Issan has a perfumed bouquet with wilted violet petals infusing the redcurrant and cranberry scents. It is strict but detailed even if not the most complex bouquet you will encounter in this vintage. The palate is medium bodied with a pleasant and supple opening. A mixture of red and black fruit here laced with tobacco, graphite and sous bois, the 1999 has a linearity that appeals at 19 years of age. It finishes in convincing style
