There is enough wood present to warrant commenting on though its not enough to endanger the clear expression of the pretty red cherry, raspberry, earth and green tea scents. The lively and beautifully well delineated medium weight flavors seem to be built on a firm base of minerality before culminating in a moderately austere, focused, intense and lingering finish. This is an interesting wine because while
