Weinbach, Gewurztraminer Mambourg SGN Vintage:2007 13% merlot(for 375 ml.; 11. 6% alcohol with 126 g l r. s.) Full medium gold. High toned, rot ennobled aromas of apricot, honey, truffle and exotic spices. Opulent, seamless and honeyed, showing less flavor complexity but a suaver mouthfeel than the Pinot Gris Altenbourg SGN today. The extremely long, lush finish is remarkably smooth for gew u rztraminer at this level of ripeness. Stephen Tanzer
