Heroes March was selected as a test piece for the Yamaha Band Festival in 2011 and performed by over 30 bands in the beginner section

but rather than write a standard fast - slow - fast I thought I should try something different

Mvts 2 and 3 are available I still need to write a 1st movement read on This piece sounds a little different to others in the horn repertoire. I've used elements of more popular styles and combined them with some that are more traditional. Movement 2 is a Ballad with a dash of jazz in the harmony, the 3rd is more modern take on the traditional 'hunting horn' style. Check out the recordings please note
