As one might reasonably expect this is notably more elegant than the old vines Gevrey with its ripe but cool and airy array of essence of black cherry

A much more elegant nose displays cool and ultra-fresh aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit that is trimmed in much more subtle oak nuances

This evidences enough wood to notice though it allows the pretty aromas of pear

Cedric Bouchard, Roses de Jeanne Haute Lemble Vintage:2016 ripe and very ripe berriesIs there a better way to start lunch than with Cedric Bouchard's 2006 Blanc de Blancs La Haute Lemble and a dozen oysters? I doubt it. The wine was absolutely beautiful, even a touch reserved, but the trademark Bouchard elegance was on full display. Bouchard's Champagnes remain some of my very favorite wines on the planet. This bottle was stunning. Antonio Galloni
