Patrick Underwood - 2023 Dash Farms Chardonnay region_Milton crafted from Sauvignon BlancI Clone planted in 1999, N S Orientation on Harcourt granite derived colluvium (quartz and feldspar sand, fine to medium grain). These rows straddle 477m amsl. Farmed by David Braybrook. 2023 was the last of the trio of cool and long ripening vintages beginning in 2021. A cleaner crop than 2022 meant that harvest dates were not restricted by disease pressure. Very beautiful ripening and a balanced crop brought wonderful balance and flavour. The
