Picque Caillou Vintage:2009 (from Les Boirettes and ChampA moderate tarry spine runs through a core of dark plum and currant fruit, with a flicker of roasted savory on the finish. Modest in scale, showing nice energy. Drink now through 2018. 800 cases made. JM
