The quadrangle encompasses the community of Bryce Canyon City, part of Bryce Canyon National Park (BCNP), and adjoining Dixie National Forest lands. Mapped rock units include strata of the Paleocene to Eocene age Claron Formation and Late Cretaceous age Kaiparowits, Wahweap, and Straight Cliffs Formations, as well as
