The part number and stock numbers are confirmed in the F8F Erection and Maintenance Manual dated 1948. Measures 2. 25in diameter and ~ 2. 75in deep. The stock number and the USN anchor symbol are stamped in yellow on the side of the casing. It is in exceptional condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact.
