Pentagon Vase 'The Bathers' wheel thrown mug is located in Saint CharlesThe pentagram vase is named so because it is built up from a pentagon as the base. The resulting geometry appears symmetrical from certain angles, and off center from other view points. The result is a different piece from every angle. When painting this piece I thought about how often as humans we choose to view ourselves as separate from nature. As a species we have taken extreme lengths to alter our environments, treating fellow animals and
