Sandwich the metal plate adaptor between the base and a cut plate. Do not place it directly under the paper and die, otherwise your metal plate adaptor will get "embossed" with the die image. But if that happens, don't worry! It won't affect the performance of the metal plate adaptor! Works great with Cuttlebug and Big Shot, but is NOT recommended for the Grand Calibur.
