The style of this chair is known as Yoke-back and this name refers to the curved headrest which is thought to resemble the winged hats of Chinese Mandarins of the Ming dynasty

These interesting enamel signs originated in India in the 1950s-60s

circular based legs with a uniquely styled intersecting geometric lattice shelf providing both structural stability and open storage space

There is also a metal emblem which unfortunately we cannot translate
