SELF ABUSE - Unestablished Since 1982 LP Drums drum machines and vocals

Description
drum machines and vocals
but debut EP Irkalla Transcendence is first and foremost a death metal release
Callahan's songs are slices of Americana at its finest--from the Yankee transcendentalism of New England forefathers to the sweep of westward expansion and the chokehold of loss and longing
Most have suggested that it was recorded in a single session over a cup of coffee on a lone 4-track cassette recorder above an old YMCA building in London
plus the doom metal of Black Sabbath

The first gig was played in at the Sloop pub, Poole, [with Barbed Wire] in October and the first cassette 'State of Mind' was recorded and released on their own 'Abused Tapes' label later that year. 1983
