This model is based on traditional paddles from western Greenland. Unlike the original Nanook, this "Bone Edge" version has epoxy reinforced blade tips. The paddle has an oval cross section and distinct shoulders at the transition between the shaft and paddle blade. The oval shape of the blades makes them a bit quieter during paddling
