Lita Ford self-titled RIAA Platinum Album Award Ray Manzarek Together they formed Split EnzRIAA Platinum Album award for Lita Ford's album Lita. This album was released on Feb. 2, 1988 and was certified Platinum on June 9, 1989 for one million copies sold. The album, the third for the former Runaways lead guitarist, featured the hits "Close My Eyes Forever", a duet with Ozzy Osbourne which hit #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, and "Kiss Me Deadly" which peaked at #12. The tracks took the album to #29 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. See
