Luciano Sandrone, Le Vigne, Barolo 2001 10 Year Old Light amber in colorFounded in 1978, the small estate of Luciano Sandrone is one of the most revered in the Langhe. Le Vigne was first produced in 1990 and is an old school assemblage of the finest parcels of vines from the estate owned vineyards in Baudana (Serralunga), Villero (Castiglione Falletto), Vignane (Barolo) and Merli (Novelli). The grapes undergo spontaneous indigenous yeast fermentation in open top steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and
