Athru Keshcorran Whiskey Subregion_San RafaelThis distinctive whiskey is the third expression of Athr 14 year old single malt. It was matured for 10 years in ex bourbon American oak casks and then finished for four years in rare Tokaji sweet wine casks. These unusual casks were sourced from a Hungarian wine region originally planted in the 1720s for Catherine the Great. This was the same time Hazelwood House was built at Lough Gill, Co. Sligo. On the palate are notes of green apples and pear.

This blend was carefully put together for this limited edition from specially selected Ports from Taylor Fladgate extensive aged Tawny stocks

100% Cabernet Sauvignon produced on the oldest vineyard in the estate and consistently harvests long lived grapes

Clean finish

delivered by its partially ageing in oak

With floral notes of lavender and jasmine
