I photographed this image on a steamy June morning, I was out really early, but you could already tell it was going to be a sweltering day it was hot even before the sun came up. I was very thankful for the heat haze, though. It softened the light beautifully and gave everything this dreamy, ethereal atmosphere that I love so much.
