Speyside 31 Year Old SMOS Marriage 59.6 Palate: A full bodied flavoursDistilled at an undisclosed distillery in 1992, this old and rare whisky was then matured for 31 years cask. Released as part of the Single Malts of Scotland, Marriage of Casks series by Elixir Distilleries. Nose: Warm apple pie, dusted in icing sugar and cinnamon. Palate: Oily and viscous with apples and conference pears coming to the front. Dry spices and buttery pastry follow. Finish: More spices balanced by the floral notes of earl grey tea.
