The Amazonite Reef necklace ISLE OF ARRAN A symbol of the skyThe Amazonite Reef necklace made on the Isle of Arran by Jess MacDonald Brass The Amazonite Reef pendant is made by melting and shaping wax, then using a method called 'lost wax casting'. The process and technique I use for the style of jewellery reminds me of the 'Bubble Coral' and Maerl that we have on the seabed around Arran, and hence it's name 'Reef'.
