1930's Copeland Spode "Chinese Rose" Demitasse Tea Plate - RD No. 629599 Decor Diameter of body: 6Manufactured by Spode & Copelands during the 1930s, this tea plate is decorated with the very popular Chinese Rose pattern, which display colourful floral variety along with swag along the rim and olive green trim. The rim of the tea plate is mildly scalloped. The Chinese Rose pattern is a variety of an earlier pattern by Spode in 1816, which was known as the India pattern.
