Distilled back in 2005, this is the result of vatting two second fill sherry butts. Incredibly active, they imparted huge amounts of flavour, but left low levels of whisky at a high ABV. A remarkably well aged expression reminiscent of much older drams.

The viscosity from an achingly slow distillation brings out the delicate essence of Islay

Finish: Medium length with more drying coffee

some vanilla and golden honey with salted caramel
