I have 1, 2" vent on either sides. I keep the humidity medium high. Not wet. I just don't allow them to dry out. Every month I add in 1 2" of new soil and new rotting wood. They don't seem to care for leaf litter but I do add in a leaf chop I make. It's just smaller pieces of leaf litter. You'll want a high quality soil and if you can add in flake soil that's a plus
