Carved by hand in Kinngait, Nunavut (Formerly Cape Dorset) All our Inuit sculptures are carved from a single piece of stone, locally sourced from the carvers community, most commonly Serpentine or Argillite. These stones are carvable but are significantly harder than soapstone.
