The image was loosely inspired by the Deserted Village on Achill Island off the west coast of Ireland where the stone cottages run along the southern slopes of Slievemore mountain

At first glance you might expect the fields look bleak at this time of year but I find there is so much inspitation in the details of the landscape and the muted colours
