It was hard work and fairly competitive. People would take the trains into town from the outskirts of the city to collect overnight, turn it in for cash, and do it all again the next day. I spoke to one of these hard working guys for a few days in the park and learned some really interesting things about the people who weren't paying dog walkers to walk their poodles in the park.
