I felt mixing up College & Spray Paint as the main 2 mediums in this piece could help create that especially with the moody top half of the picture having loads of references in the background you have to look for. I looked at this piece a little bit different than normal as I wanted to try and emulate an old school film poster but in my own distinctive style & I think I managed

All the badges have been hand made & packaged in my studio

I was beating myself up as I didn't have the next thing planned & it was really getting in my head

Malcolm X's embrace of black separatism shaped the debate over how to achieve freedom and equality in a nation that had long denied a portion of the American citizenry the full protection of their rights
