The procedure has been evaluated using acrylic, acrylonitrile butadiene, carboxylated styrenebutadiene and vinyl acetate polymer dispersions. Both test methods may also be applicable to polymer dispersions of other compositions. Method A is the preferred method for polymer dispersions with a free formaldehyde content
